Surveyor / Voids Surveyor (Social Housing)
Leicester (Commutable from Coventry, Naraborough, Coalville, Oadby, Loughborough and surrounding areas)
£24,192 – £27,804 per annum
Our client currently has an excellent opportunity for a Surveyor to join their progressive organisation in Naraborough, Leicester. The purpose of this role is to be responsible for all voids and another contract, the Surveyor will be rewarded with a salary of £24,192 - £27,804 per annum.
In this pivotal role the Surveyor will be carrying out pre-void and void surveys on properties, to assess the extent of the repairs to meet lettable standard. You will need to communicate effectively with existing tenants and internal clients and you will take the lead on determining void properties asbestos content prior to inspection.
Our ideal candidate will have an HNC in building studies and will hold a domestic energy assessor (DEA) qualification or above to City & Guilds level or equivalent. Experienced in surveying and managing social housing void works through to completion you will have also have experience of working in a tenant facing social housing environment or commercial environment. The candidate will also have a project management based approach to all works. Our client also carries out voids for other clients so prioritisation and time management are essential skills. Additionally you will have the ability to use IT packages including Microsoft project.
This is a full time, permanent position working 35 hours per week, our client offers a contributory pension scheme and a BUPA cash plan.
