Salary up to £35,190.00
Full Time, Permanent 37.5 hours per week
Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Care and Support Manager / Registered Manager based in Stafford with a rewarding salary of £35,190.00 per annum.
The Care and Support Manager / Registered Manager will ensure that residents and other people receive flexible housing along with care and support services within an extra care setting.
In this pivotal role the Care and Support Manager / Registered Manager will work with other members of the team to provide a high quality and cost effective service which demonstrates value for money. You will be responsible for ensuring that the service is compliant with all the essential standards of quality and safety set out by the care quality commission.
Other duties will include developing and implementing a programme of leisure, education and social activities that aim to enhance and promote physical and mental wellbeing for the residents to improve quality of life. You will ensure that high standards of care and support practice are maintained through care and support planning, staff management and effective communication. You will also lead on the recruitment of new staff.
The Care and Support Manager / Registered Manager will possess a related managerial qualification (e.g. NVQ 4, Registered Managers Award, QCF 5) along with knowledge of dementia care and a commitment to professional development. You will have substantial experience of working in a care setting and working knowledge at a senior/ supervisory level is essential. You will also have experience of supervising, appraising, training and coaching employees and the ability to manage financial plans and budgets.
Due to the nature of the role you will be need to be able to drive across the business area with access to your own vehicle. You will be flexible and willing to work occasional evenings, weekends and bank holidays and participate in a management on call rota.

Additional Requirements: Care Quality Commission approval as the Registered Manager and an enhanced CRB Disclosure.
