Tenant Liaison Officer / Resident Liaison Officer / Community Support x 2 Fixed Term
Our client is looking for a two highly motivated individuals to be an integral part of the Tenant Empowerment Team.
These are Fixed Term Contracts for two years which exist to provide support to a variety of contracts in relation to their Major Improvement Programme, such as kitchen upgrades and window renewals.
Your job will be to gain the trust of tenants throughout the whole Major Improvement Programme process and to protect their interests by liaising with contractors every day to make sure that tenants receive the standard of service they have a right to expect.
From empowering tenants to deciding on the design of a kitchen or to ensure that the finished work meets their individual needs, you will be there to make sure that the tenant's interests come first and enable their tenants to be involved in the improvement initiatives. You will also provide support to the Investment and Regeneration staff and contractors to assist them in local community consultation and involvement initiatives.
To apply for the role, you will need experience of working within a housing environment, previous experience of dealing with clients with difficulties, and Experience of partnership working with other social landlords and agencies.
The use of your own vehicle for business transport is a pre-requisite for these positions.
